Dollhouse

Dollhouse is about an underground establishment called as Dollhouses. This corporation runs the Dollhouses in various places around the world where they produce programmed individuals they call Actives or Dolls. These Dolls have temporary personalities and skills. Clients capable of buying for the Dolls hire them for different purposes. The show basically follows the life of a certain Doll named Echo.

Echo, played by Eliza Dushku, is an Active or a Doll from the Los Angeles Dollhouse. Echo’s original memory has been wiped out just like any other Doll being produced by the company. After the memory has been erased, a program is inserted in them to provide new memories and personalities to suit whatever purpose they may serve. However, Echo is unique because despite the fact the her memory has been swiped out clean, she can still remember small amounts of events which later on develops to her self-awareness and personality.

Topher Brink, portrayed by Fran Kanz, is the programmer who resets the Dolls to zero memory state. Boyd Langton, portrayed by Harry Lennix, is an ex-cop with undisclosed past serves as the mentor of Echo. Lennix basically has great concern about the ethical and theological implication of the technology being used by the Dollhouse.

Other stars included in Dollhouse are Enver Gjokaj, Dichen Lachman, Tahmoh Penikett and Alan Tudyk.
